Todd and I want to thank Jenna Hawkins for the sale of our ranch. We specifically hired Jenna due to her long experience and knowledge in selling land and ranches. We were thrilled to get an offer on our home within 45 days of listing with her. We ended up with a buyer that loved our ranch but unfortunately, they were very difficult and demanding. Our listing agreement was signed on August 24, 2016, and our ranch was listed on MLS on August 29, 2016.
Tom Callan and Jenna Hawkins were quick to use a drone, with earlier aircraft aerials, to produce a complete picture of our ranch. As well, they insisted on riding our fence lines, pasture roads and trails to locate our tanks and pretty spots, so they knew our ranch as well as we did after owning it for 35 years.
On the houses, barn and other facilities, an expert photographer took very thorough pictures. The pictures and property information were professionally presented on a website created specifically for our property, providing extensive detail for prospective buyers.
After the fifth showing of our property on October 13, 2016, negotiations began which were finalized with a sales contract on October 21 and a closing on November 30.
Both Tom Callan and Jenna Hawkins are involved in agriculture and have been for years, and they know the issues of recreational properties as well. They are professional, personable, likeable and a pleasure to do business with.
As well as selling our ranch, Jenna and her daughter and associate, Haley Lopez, also assisted us with finding and purchasing our new home in Graham, Texas. Fine people, excellent performance all around. They are highly recommended.
